Butter for the Mind

Currently at 31,000 words for Mary of the Darkness. I just wrote 1,407 words this evening, and shortly I shall go to bed. I got an e-mail from the publisher the other day. Before I read it, I saw that it was only a couple of sentences, so I assumed it was a terse rejection. However, it turned out to be an apology for taking so long. They wanted me to know that my manuscript had indeed been received and was in the queue. So there you go.
