I think the Special Blog of Reginald McNard has served it sacred purposes and will be coming to a special and muted end. I started it as a mean of posting secret things about my life in a place and in a format that few would stumble upon. Chaz found it, however, using his special tactics, but all others will never know the troubling facts posted in this blog over the years.
Over time, this blog turned into a form of accountability for my own writing. I kept track of my daily word count and publication history, and it was a useful means of keeping me working. Now, at last, my first novel is about to be published, so the most luscious milestone of all has been reached. Mary of the Aether will appear first as an e-book and later as a trade paperback from Whiskey Creek Press. It's a small press, so this is not some Stephen King sized release here, by any means. Not until I slowly, step-by-step take the publishing world by storm, that is.
Anyway, I am in the process of setting up my website at jeffreyaaronmiller.com, so that is sort of weird. Eventually, it will have publication news, forums and various random elements to satisfy the soul of every Mary Lanham fan (not to mention, some day, the Cakey fans and Jeren Dekembri fans, should such things ever appear).
